Back to school 2019

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL! IT's been a very busy first week of school and extremely fun getting to know your child. I am looking forward to a very fulfilling school year. ELA UPDATES: Last week in review: The students learned about the importance of having a positive digital footprint and to use technology in a responsible, respectful and positive way. The students created this Be your Best Digital Self poster/puzzle during class. JOB WELL DONE! We're off and reading. We had our first visit to the library where the students selected some wonderful books to read during our quiet reading time. The students will be keeping a log of the wonderful books they are reading and will be giving book commercials during the week so others may enjoy the same book. Reading Olympic forms can be found on line - Reading Olympics is a wonderful/fun way to get your child motivated to read. The competition is a fun-filled evening filled with excitement and lots of enthusiasm....
